| Description: | Full and part time seasonal workers are needed for the Buildings and Grounds Department.

| Duties: | Cemetery Maintenance: assists with placement of headstones and markers; maintains grounds; improvements and repairs; maintenance and repair of sprinkler system; cleans restrooms; trash removal; assists public; performs other duties as necessary.
Parks Worker:
Cleans restrooms, pavilions, picnic tables, barbeques, fire pits etc; grounds maintenance; necessary repairs; picks up trash and garbage; provides great customer service; assists with tree maintenance; performs improvement projects; all aspects of park maintenance. |
| Qualifications: | Must be at least 16 years of age. Experience in grounds maintenance or landscape maintenance perferred, but not required. Previous job experience preferred but not required.
Must be able to safely operate lawn mowers and other small equipment. Must be able to read and write. Must be able to communicate with park patrons effectively. Must be willing to work weekends and holidays. Must be able to follow directions and complete work assignments. Must be able to work as part of a team.
THIS IS A PHYSICALLY DEMANDING POSITION. MUST BE ABLE TO WORK OUTDOORS IN ANY WEATHER. MUST BE ABLE TO LIFT HEAVY LOADS, UP TO 50LBS. REQUIRED TO PUSH, PULL AND LIFT MODERATE/HEAVY WEIGHTS. EXPOSURE TO DAMPNESS, TEMPERATURE EXTREMES, FUMES, DUST AND GREASE. |
