| Description: | Under the direction of the Canyon Parks Foreman, performs duties necessary for the operation, maintenance, and upkeep of City Canyon parks and public property.

| Duties: | Cleans restrooms, pavilions, picnic tables, barbaques, fire pits, etc. Operates small equipment such as hand mowers, line trimmers, blowers, edgers, tillers, etc.
Picks up trash, litter and debris. Performs manual labor tasks such as weeding, digging, sweeping, raking, etc. Visually inspects parks for vandalism, damage and needs for repair. Performs part improvement projects.
Assists canyon parks foreman with tree maintenance.
Works Saturday and Sunday mornings, in turn to perform park clean up to prepare for weekend reservations.
Assists with sprinkling system repair when needed. Assists full-time staff with all aspects of park maintenance.
Other duties as assigned. |
| Qualifications: | Must be at least 16 years of age. Experience in grounds and landscape maintenance preferred, but not required. Must be able to safely operate lawn mowers, hand held power equipment, aerators, tillers, etc. Must be able to read and write. Must have a valid Utah drivers livense. Must be able to follow direction and complete work assignments. Must be able to work as a part of a team. |
