| Description: | Under the direction of the Canyon Parks Supervisor is responsible for facilities, equipment and customer service for the winter recreation programs at Springville Canyon Parks. |
| Duties: | Assists in development of cross country skiing, snowshoeing program and trail layout. Assists in fitting and rental of equipment. Collection of fees and balancing receipts each day. Maintain and clean facilities including restrooms. Perform safety checks on all equipment, vehicles and trails. Assist in snow removal around facilities. Provide superior customer service to our users. Provide supervision over tubing and sledding area and maintain fireplace. Locking and securing parks and all facilities at the end of the day. All other duties as assigned by supervisor. |
| Qualifications: | Must be a high school graduate and possess a valid Utah driver's license. Preference given to individuals with previous experience working in outdoor winter recreation programs. Must have working knowledge of cross country ski and snowshoe equipment and their use.
Must possess excellent customer service skills. Must be able to coordinate and work with large groups of people. Must have skills to operate snowmobiles and winter trail grooming equipment. Knowledge of snow conditions at different temperatures. Basic knowledge of winter first-aid practices. |
